I’m writing to share with you a message and an invitation from the natural world. I invite you to read this with appreciation of the message, understanding of how urgently this message was communicated, and a willingness to respond to the call to action the stones (and all of nature) are sending.
From the time I was a child, I’ve loved rocks - their colors, their textures, what they feel like, and the vibrations I feel from them. During childhood I had the good fortune to live near an undeveloped, wooded area where I spent hours exploring and savoring the beauty and power in the woods, the plants, the creatures, wind, water, and the stones. This was central to my life as a little child and has continued in a variety of ways throughout my life.
As an adult I’ve had a varied career, including serving as a counselor in schools, working in health care administration, developing a management consulting business, and working as a holistic health practitioner after an injury changed the trajectory of my life. I learned the value of meditation, learned to connect more fully and expansively with the parts of nature that had always been my love, and began to receive intuitive nudges that helped both my clients and me.
Today I live near the ocean where sadly many gulls and sea ducks have been killed by bird flu. After being brought to tears by the sight of yet another dead duck on the beach, I returned home to meditate with the help of a few stones. I asked, “How can I help protect and heal Mother Earth and all that lives here?” A powerful, insistent message with an invitation and a loving warning for us humans was the reply. It was clear that this was information and a call to action I was to share with others.
The words that follow are not mine, but rather a verbatim transmission of what I was given in my role as a conduit for this message:
“The stones are all connected. Trees too. They talk to each other. All is connected to the web (of nature, life, and all that is). You humans need to feed the web, not just take from it. The rocks, the trees, all that is, can be conduits for you to feed energy, love and gratitude back in, but you must maintain balance. Regenerative agriculture does this. You must similarly regenerate your relationship with earth and all that is.
You’ve consumed; you’ve asked for help. Doing so is part of what is offered and available to you as humans, but you must reciprocate, find balance. You can do this by feeding into the rocks and trees. Some rocks are receivers, others are senders, and still others will offer glimpses and portals to the unseen world. Use these vehicles to feed energy back in. Do this with respect, reverence, gratitude and love.
Web lines are breaking and collapsing and will continue to deteriorate if there is no change. Mother Earth will endure, but she will be changed and much that you know and depend on will collapse. Feed in love, gratitude, respect, appreciation and dignity. Do this every day. Express gratitude when you eat, when you see beauty and are offered the gift of a hawk, a mountain view – anything that brings a song to your soul. Your appreciation will send a message of how welcome these gifts are and will feed and strengthen Mother Earth. Without this appreciation her colors (in human eyes) will fade to grey, and the gifts and access offered to you will become increasingly unavailable.
Love, joy, appreciation and sharing of your energy, i.e., balance and reciprocity are needed. Use your body to release the tears and sadness being held in earth. Doing this will make room for love. Work with the magnetic center first. There’s a need to reconnect to the center of earth. Release heat and congestion through steam holes. Fix breaks in the web. Lift up and stabilize areas in the web and breaks where the earth’s crust has collapsed.
We stones have ancient wisdom and knowledge, but humans have become distracted and many no longer remember how to connect with us. We want peace. Your striving and pushing prevents you from finding peace, prevents your appreciation of beauty and blocks your knowledge and appreciation of all that is. You can still achieve without this striving. Relax and listen, feel, notice. Allow yourselves to be in the flow of life and you’ll still be able to achieve. Your pushing blocks your access to your soul purpose. It causes you to harm one and other. Connect with us and we’ll teach you. We want to help. Your pushing disturbs and harms us, and it harms Mother Earth. Connect with us and open to our message.
Slow down. Use the gift of your senses. All you need is here and available, but if you keep over-consuming, and if you don’t respect and replenish, it all will be gone. Your connection with Mother Earth will fade, and less and less will be available to you, including your ability to connect with us. You are loved, and we’re available to you, but you’re in danger of letting your greed spoil your connection.
Use the premise of regenerative farming as your guide. Replenish rather than simply taking. You’re acting like spoiled children, and it will catch up with you. Connect with us and use your senses to take in our message. Pick up your trash. Take responsibility for your role as a custodian of Mother Earth. Appreciate all that your senses show you. Slow your mind. Allow yourself to appreciate beauty and connection.
Mother Earth will take care of herself. Without change factories will crumble. There will be more quakes, particularly where fracking has occurred. The seas will disgorge plastic back onto humans. Clean up your garbage, your trash. Send healing energy surrounding the globe. Use technology, magnets and filters to clean pollution. Heal the humans/heal the planet. Show people what’s in it for them. Nurture the children. Teach them about us.”
